1952 MG TD $15000

Bought new by my mom in Phoenix Arizona in 1952 and was maintained in Phoenix for the first 55 years. The car has been in a garage in San Antonio since then. We are looking for someone that will care for this classic car and enjoy it as much as our family has.

Engine number on the block matches the engine number on the body, #18072. Brakes just rebuilt. Starts and runs smooth. Compression at 125 psi. Top frame good couple small tears. Missing the side curtains. Included in the sale is an MG workshop manual. This car could be made showroom ready with very little investment.

Please contact Mitch Hill if you would like to see this great car.

77 MGB, VIN GHN5UH420587, engine#

18V884AE-L801, 11/76, comm# 23714

$1500

The engine is rebuilt, runs, and the car has overdrive. When I purchased the car a couple of years ago I verified it all worked then - but it has been sitting in the garage the past 2 years. No battery in the car.

The rockers need to be replaced, need repair panels on the lower fenders, brakes need to be rebuilt, some parts are dissembled, almost all parts to complete are in the car.
I suppose the only things I could add would be I obtained the car as part of a bulk purchase (parts and cars) from an estate in Michigan and I have no clue as to history of the car or the abilities of the guy who rebuilt the engine.... I do not have a title, the grandson never sent it to me. The engine runs fine... even on the seriously BAD gas that is in the tank. Compression was 145-150 all cylinders.

Car is here in San Antonio.

I purchased this 1976 MGB roughly two years ago for a Route 66 trip with my brother. We just completed the trip after a one year delay due my brother's illness. The car ran great and completed the 3,500 mile trip with no major hitches. I am the third owner. The last owner had the vehicle for thirty years. As far as I know, the car has always been garaged and it has no rust. I've poured a lot of money into it and it is as mechanically sound as any MGB I'm acquainted with. The top is fairly new and in good shape. Brand new tires. New interior appointments. New brake cylinder, etc. Too many new things added to enumerate. Yes, it could use a paint job as hood paint has oxidized and faded but I would call this discretionary investment. You could take the car as-is and not spend a penny more or go hog wild, like most MGs, and pump money into it. Buyer's choice. The vehicle has 98,700 actual miles. Kept in Boerne. For sale by owner for $5990. Call Dave at 210-710-2798 or email to conrocapub@yahoo.com.
