A fun weekend at Hallett Oklahoma Racing last weekend
Tom and I drove up Thursday Morning, at 3:00 AM in the rain,and fog
Fridays practice rained so hard I had to ware a rain suit.
I did great in the rain and passed a bunch of cars, Maybe this was going to be a good weekend after all
Saturday it snowed 10 and 1/2 inches, blowing snow and real cold, no racing
Saturday night and Sunday Morning we drove 4 wheel drive trucks around the track to get it clear
Qualified first in class Sunday with the track having streams of melting snow flowing across it
On the way in from a great quaffing session I broke some thing in the motor, maybe a lifter??
So no racing after a long weekend and so we drove home back to San Antonio arriving at 10:30 Sunday night.
Now that's what I call fun
